Louise Brown

I am a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience. In 2009 I set up my own Practice based at my home in Witney.

In 2010 I passed all exams required for membership of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and am pleased to now also offer my services as a fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser.

I started my career in Practice working predominantly with small to medium sized businesses and then spent 9 years in the Financial Services Sector in a variety of roles including Internal Audit, Management Accounting, Strategic Planning, Financial Projects and Financial Training.

More recently I held positions as Finance Director for several organisations in the Technolgy, Business Services and Hospitality sectors. These include a subsidiary of a UK PLC, an AIM listed Company and an owner managed business.

I am keen to be involved in the local business community here in Witney and am a member of Witney Chamber of Trade & Commerce, Witney Business Breakfast, Witney Big Breakfast and Carterton Biz Net.

I am a member of and regularly attend meetings of the ICAEW Oxfordshire Practice Support Group and Thames Valley Branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. I also regularly attend Working Together meetings with HMRC and other Tax agents.
