The Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) is focussing on a reiew of tax administration at all key stages in a small business's tax cycle. It will look at HMRC processes when setting up a business and the administrative burden it places on small businesses throughout their life. There will be surveys and roadshows to find out which areas cause most problems and how processes and systems can be improved to help small businesses get things right.
